SuperEnalotto

SuperEnalotto is the biggest lottery game in Italy and one of the biggest in Europe as far as jackpot sizes are concerned. The game was launched in December 1997 to replace an Enalotto game that had been played ever since the 1950’s, and the first draw was held on Wednesday 3 December. Draws currently take place four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

To play the standard SuperEnalotto game, you need to pick six numbers from a choice of 90, with the multimillion-Euro jackpot shared amongst those who match six main numbers. With multiple rollovers, SuperEnalotto’s jackpot can rise to huge amounts and the record total currently stands at €371.1 million, which was won by a system ticket on 16th February 2023.

SuperEnalotto Prizes and Odds of Winning

In the main SuperEnalotto draw, there are six main balls and an additional Jolly number dispensed from the pool of 90. The Jolly boosts the value of a prize when matched with five main numbers. There are also cash amounts awarded for ticket holders who match anything from two main numbers upwards, with the odds of winning in each prize tier standing at:

Prize Level How to Win Odds of Winning

Playing SuperStar

Players have the option of selecting a SuperStar number between one and 90 along with their regular numbers for a small additional fee. The SuperStar number is pulled from a separate machine after the main draw and matching it guarantees you a prize. SuperStar awards begin at €5 for matching the SuperStar alone and rise considerably when matched with more main numbers from the main SuperEnalotto game.
